First, 303 won't harm your paint or glass. Just wipe off. The thing about 303 is that it doesn't dry hard, like a varnish or acrylic product. Instead, much of it actually soaks in to the vinyl, and some remains on the surface. In fact, if you have an AP1 with the plastic back window, the 303 will actually benefit your window.

Because it doesn't dry to a hardened finish, some may drip down on the paint with subsequent wash jobs --- but I personally have never noticed this problem as I always use detailing spray after a wash anyway.

With 303, every time you wash (or get in a rain) a little bit of that shine will go away --- but the blackness of tops and tires will stay. And so will the UV protection. To restore the shine, it's a 2 minute job to just rub a little more 303 on.

Thanks,
Richard

Most boat stores should have it. Bought mine at a west marine chain. They usually have plexus on the shelves as well and for some reason the only place locally I could find meguiars plastic cleaner and polish...

West Marine is a giant rip off. Buy your 303 on-line and you'll save money. Plus since you're already making an order get some of the other really, really great detailing products found on-line.

Seriously though, West Marine's prices for 303 products are way too high. I paid $28 for 32 oz. of Fabric Guard there. I saw it one day later on Autogeek for $18.

The prices must vary per chain because I only paid like $1-2 more than online prices which I figured would go to shipping anyways. The plexus was actually cheaper than online.

For what it's worth, the best deal I've found on 303 vinyl protector is from Performance Products (www.performanceproducts.com), for $44.95 per gallon, plus shipping.

Thanks,
Richard

Yeah, a gallon might be a bit much for someone with only one small car, like the S 2000. But I've got three vehicles. And, 303 is good on vinyl, rubber, and leather in non-automotive uses too.

Thanks,
Richard

It's not going to go bad. So, if you can save a couple of bucks then I say "why not?" I've got about 8 gallon containers of various products. Six of them are dilutable so they last even longer.
