Default J's catch can and overflow

Hey

So Im in the process of getting the S back to new condition. I will post paint questions seperately though.

I have used Megs Hyperdressing after APC and all is good, apart from the j's catch can.

Anyone got some methods/products? I can only really get Megs here so a suggestion of one of their products would help.

Thanks

thanks wanabe,

If you see the pic above, its to the right. Im sure you know the bit I mean. Its just really dull, and it should be all shiney!

Im just wondering if I can just use a metal polish, or if I need to use wet and dry sanding etc?

Sorry for not phrasing correctly.

Thanks in advance

Just take it to someone ( a shop) who does metal polishing and it will turn out great.
I don't think it will turn out the way you want if you do it by hand, it needs to be machine polished.

I attached a buffing wheel to my cordless Dewalt and went to town. However, the can itself is not a polished metal to start with so I didn't buff it to a shiny finish, just cleaned it up and evened it out. I noticed that I could have gone further and achieved a shinier finish so you may want to try this route first, as it's very inexpensive and easy.
