Default Issues with the OXO Dusters

Hi wash and wax whackos!

Does anyone have issues with the OXO Dusters leaving a residue
on their car after use?

I followed the instructions that came with it that said to let the duster
sit on a bed of newspaper to absorb the extra "liquid" that comes
on it and I did that for 2 days yet it still is leaving a residue.

Is is supposed to leave a residue? Are you supposed to follow up
the dusting with a quick detailer? Do I need to let it sit on the
newspaper for more than 2 days?

This would be a really useful tool especially during pollen season
but what's the point of using it if it's going to leave residue and
streaks on a waxed car?

Thanks for any insight you whackos can provide!

hey there- we are wackos, not whackos!!

although some of us are both...

sounds like some of the duster wax is still on the duster and that the newspaper did not absorb it.

a quick detailer should do the job. i always follow dusting with a detail spray.

after a coupla times of dusting, your wax issue should go away.
