Thanks guys I bought the tool and gave it a try. Seems to work well! I used the 'all purpose' microfiber cloth by mistake when I meant to use the 'glass polishing' cloth. Worked fine tho.

I saw it at Autozone and Schuck's for about $17, bought it at Walmart for $14.50, then went back to Autozone later and saw it on sale for $12.95 d'oh!

I am sure the S is pretty easy to clean, my Audi wagon has some tough to reach areas on the windshield and the rear windows in the trunk area.

I have one of these as well and it works great. I don't need it for the S as much as my GF's Pontiac G6. Her car has a very deep dash and the magic reach thingy helps a lot.

I also can add my .02 cents - I have one and it works well.

IIRC this tool makes a bigger difference cleaning the rear window of the S2K than the front window. However, it does certainly help in cleaning both.

Is it well constructed?

My MY00 plastic window is a royal PITA to clean. I assume it can hold up to a 'regular' cleaning with Plexus, but would it be strong enough to attempt an clear cloudiness with Novus? or PlastiX?

Thanks in advance.

this thing works great. one suggestion is that you clean the windshield overall with the microfiber cloth. then re-do it again with a two big paper towels with the microfiber off. one piece of paper towel per 1/2 of the windshield. this way it will eliminate those marks that you can only see when the sun hits it the right way.
