Installing Ricks 3M clear headlight film
Hello. I remember reading on another thread that you guys suggested to wax your car before getting a clear bra. Should I do the same for the headlight film?
Does anyone know how correctly install the film? I'm not sure if I'm suppose to use a spray first and stick on or just stick on. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

NO. You should clean the headlights with rubbing alcohol. Then mix 1 part rubbing alcohol to 8 parts water in a spray bottle. Spray that on your headlight until it is wet. Then remove the backing from the film, and spray the solution on the glue side of the film. Then place the film on the headlight, slowly so you get it on right. Then using a credit card, start from the center and squeegee the solution and bubbles out.
It is kinds like installing Window Tint, only using alcohol and water.

You should POLISH/prep your car and headlights before a clear bra install so you take out all the imperfections first such as swirls, paint chips, hazing, etc.
Wax/sealant would only interfere with the bra sticking to the surface.
