Default The inside of the hood

I am looking for advice on what product to use to clean the inside of the hood. Should I just use the same products as outside i.e. cleaner and sealant or should I consider alternative as ideally wouldn't want to get it allover the inside of car.

Thanks in advance.

I use the exact same products under the hood as I do on the exterior of the car. The only exception is I don't have any under hood insulation on my vehicles( CR models) which makes cleaning that much easier. I use MF towels with a mild car wash to remove any dust or grime, I then wipe the area down with a clean damp MF towel. I then follow up with a sealant and a wax.

I use the same products as well. Sometime a bit of citrus degreaser if needed.

A great product that works wonders under the hood is SONAX paint cleaner. It is a 2-in-1 product that really cleans up the painted under hood areas and puts a layer of protection down as well.

Interesting - So, the CR did not come with hood insulation? I did not know this...

Thumbs up

Okay, now that that's sorted, what do people actually use to clean the inside of the soft top? RaggTopp and the like get all sudsy and have to be rinsed off, and I can't see that working on the inside.

For the inside of the soft top, I use All Purposes Cleaner with a microfiber.

I just vacuum it off. Use the tonneau to protect it.
