my car doesn't even have fender liners in the rear? i wonder if the previous owner removed them, but i remembered doing a search on it here and other owners said they don't come with rear fender liners?

Mine have them in the front and rear. I wonder if it's an AP1 vs AP2 thing.

is there a piece that should be around the rest of the fender, like from 2 o'clock and moving clockwise (right where your #1 circle ends)? I can look down through there and see the muffler and always hear pinging when i drive on dirt and gravel.

The part being referenced is #11

so for $21 I replaced them

i have #11 but is there a shroud or liner that should close the fender? mine is open all the way back to the hollow of the rear bumper and the top of the muffler canisters.

That's normal... even 3rd gen integra's where like this, unless you had the rear mud flaps installed
