I put up to 3 coats a day using ZFX. That amounts to 6 coats in one weekend and 18 over three weekends. After the first three coats, I was not happy with the shine on my 2002 silver s2k. I was expecting a better shine. So I continued to pile them up and stopped at 19 since I was not getting an improvement on the shine. I wonder how long these 19 coats will last? Maybe a whole year? I will probably add 3 more coats at once every three months.

it would appear your clearcoat is now etched - and a different course of action is required . . .

I was told to keep the zaino off of the plastic. A vette owner said it hazed and was a bugger to get off. Does anyone know if I should stick to metal only or can I also zaino the matching plastic bumpers of the s2000?
Also, I called Zaino bros. today and he said not to put any treatment on the convertable top. Just his car wash and never apply any other substance. I heard these Zaino guys know their car care, any other thoughts?

jetpuke - Yes, dont apply the polish to black plastic components. It can be removed if you do slip up and get some on.
Certainly you may , and should apply it to painted plastic parts, bumpers etc. You can even do your windshield and side windows for that rain-x effect.
