Ice turtle wax

Ice turtle wax
I'm currently using ice turtle wax (blue wax, blue pad, and blue cloth) I was wondering what your thoughts are about the wax. Would you say it's one of the better products out there for waxing our cars or do you guys have other recommendations. My goal is to PROTECT the paint but also give it that nice shine.

Ice is going to have very short durability. There are places to order better waxes. Like detailersdomain.com.
Sometimes members sell stuff as well, especially on detailing forums.
Collinite waxes have outstanding durability.
But the shine comes from the prep (polishing/compounding) not the wax.

I think you can do so much better than the Turtle products, though I applaud you for using them. Using them on a regular basis is much better than not using anything. But there are, as noted, many superior products out there. I happen to have a tub of P21S 100% that I might be persuaded to sell at a reasonable price. Collinite 845 would be a big step up performance-wise from the Turtle products, yet it's also economical.

Don't use turtle ice wax. It's durability sucks, it's hard to remove and just sucks all together. With that being said the best wax I've used that has an all around good durability, simple to remove and has an excellent shine is Collonite #845

I prefer synthetic sealants which last longer due to their molecular structure. Products like Blackfire Wet Diamond all paint protection has cross linked molecules which allow the protectant to last far longer than most waxes and 1 or 2 coats gives the paint a wet look illusion. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.
