Default i tried this combo past weekend Zaino without Zfx

I know.. i know.. Sal's not gonna like me for doing this..

but yesterday I tried this combo

on one section of a hood,

optimum polish w/ rotary 1500rpm yellow pad
alcohol and water wipe
ensure no spiderweb swirls existed

z8'd spray it and wiped it down
z-pc LC green pad, pc speed 5
z2pro LC black pad, pc speed 4
Natty's Blue x 1 by hand

**notice, no ZFX** for a 1st zaino application.. it was like what the heck, let's experiment..

and it worked out pretty well so far..

z-pc spread nicely and came off really nice as well..

But i was more surprised at how easily z2 pro spread by the black pad and how easily it was to remove. Never had this joy when applying by hand.. Hmmmm ?

and earlier on in the year, i topped z2 pro with souveran and it muted the finish, but yesterday topping it Natty's brought out greater "wetness" to the finish..

I think i've stumbled on a winning combo here without the dreaded mixing and shaking of zfx..

good report!
sal didnt like it when we sandwiched zaino and carnubas when his products were first released either, but now it is common practice!
i am really into experimentation and applaud you for it.

so you have z2 without z1 or any binding on the car? very interesting...
and i share your love of the pc with zaino- i always catch lotsa flack cause i do the same. (some folks are worried that i am wasting the product, but whatever i am wasting is worth it to me for the even application and ease of the machine)

yup.. i splashed the surface with z8, then z-pc, then z2 pro and i don't think anyone will be able to tell the diff from one with zfx or without it..

naturally long term i think there may be an issue.. but as of now, in the acute stages, it's blinging and i'm gonna do more of my testing..

z2 pro is way more balanced by applying it with pc.. and it removes a helluva lot easier i found to..

I did some experimentation this weeked as well. On my Mom's car I topped Menzerna FMJ with P21S. It was my first time with either product. I thought they were both great to work with.
