Remember when you bought your car? When you drove off the lot you had the blackest, slimiest tires on Earth. Whatever that stuff is the dealer put on your tires, I've been unable to duplicate it with any authorized tire protectant found at Wal Mart.
If I want the blackest, slimiest tires I can get, what should I use? My standard method is Armor All tire foam, which hasn't dissolved the clear coat on my rims yet, and I've used it for over 5 years on various Hondas. Still, it's not like the shine on the car lot...

There is only one real option in this area, Meguiar's Endurance. Here's the link:

It lasts for weeks rather than days and never turns brown--unlike competitive products.
GREAT product!

I asked the salesperson what they used on all the cars on the lot. She put me in touch with the supplier "Auto Magic" (who'se a distributer). Their web site is http://www.automagic.com and I believe I'm using the "Super Shine" (which the dealer uses).
It gives a really high gloss, long lasting shine. The only disadvantage I've found is that if you put too much on, it'll gradually work to the outside of the tire and get thrown back along the side panels. You have to practice how much to use. If I were you, I'd check with the service manager at the dealer where you bought your S2K, and ask what they use.

I formally used the Armor-All Detailer's tire foam, but a few months ago I switched to the Meguiar's Gold Class Endurance. This stuff is awesome, I highly recommend it! It lasts for several weeks and through many washes.
