I had to try it.
Last day of my vacation, a beautiful fall day. Time to break out the Zaino. What's this, my son has purchases some Meguiars wax for his Del Sol. I have read all of the back and forth on this board about sandwiching zaino and wax. Time to see for myself. Wash, Z5, Meguiars, Z2, Z6 . Without
doubt this is the deepest clearest shine that I have ever seen on my car. My son says its like looking in a black mirror. Don't take me wrong, Zaino was great by itself. But nothing like this!
Rick.

Rick,
Finish your application of synthetic, then apply the carnauba wax on top of the synthetic. The synthetic can bond to itself or the paint, but I don't think that it can bond to carnauba wax. I haven't heard of anyone putting synthetic on top of the carnauba. I am polishing and applying my synthetic once a year and constantly applying S100 on top of that base. My carnauba seems to last about 5 or 6 weeks.
I don't use the instant detailer spray (Z6) immediately after waxing. I do use it when I dust off the car without washing it, though.
Good luck,
Bob

hey bob,
as you know, we were among the first here to sandwich...
i have sandwiched zaino over carnuba.
but usually do not.
carnuba over zaino as the last step is great, but dont see much diff when i then put more z2 over the carnuba...
so i now just use cqrnubq as the last step.
and use instant detailers with carnuba in them.
