Default I detailed an Escalade ESV today! Pics also!

I did not realize how dirty this car was going to be. I quoted her $95 for a wax with all the other basic things. She told me it was going to be dirty but man did I have my work cut out for me. I believe the last time it was cleaned was over 6 months ago. When she met me at her house, she was just getting in from the beach with her 2 kids and 2 dogs. You should be able to imagine what it looked like. Here are some before and after pics.

Before:

After:

Since it is white its kind of hard to tell how dirty it really was. I spent 45 min. just washing the front end. It took me 2 hours just to wash it. Not including drying time. The entire job took me 7 hours to complete. She ended up giving me a $65 tip. So I made $160 total. She also asked how often I could come by. She is wanting me to do it atleast once a month if not more. Great person to do business with. I am very happy to have her as a regular customer now!

Now for some questions. What is a good product to get off those black spots all over the car? I believe it is tar. Also what about the bugs on the front bumper? Any advice on how to get off those difficult spots in a more timely manner?

Thanks for the suggestion. Could you tell me where you pick that up from? I searched for it on autogeek but could not find it.

I too have a suggestion . . . Meguiar's Body Solvent. This stuff eats tar for breakfast.

Are both of these suggestions pretty safe for the paint? What about wax? If I used these products over some wax would it remove the wax?

Anything strong enough to remove bugs & tar will remove wax. Both the products suggested are totally safe for paint.
