How to wash out this stain

I wouldn't over think it too much and use a color safe product.
I have 303 at home so I'd probably use a deluted amount of that

I also wouldn't put it past to dilute some simple green in like a 1:10 mixture and give that try. move your way up in ratio if it's not coming out.

can allways try some baking soda paste if you have some extra baking soda laying around. I've don't this for some goo on carpet before.

The least risky method is use a can of compressed air to "freeze" the substance. Then use a credit card to gently scrap the now brittle substance. It might take several tries, but it will come off, just don't be overly aggressive while scrapping.
