how to restore/repair scuffed up seat bolster?
i'm looking at a 04 s2k with 47k miles. car is in a decent, not great, shape, and the driver's side bolster is all scuffed up. is this repairable? how much $ are we talking about, and do i need to take this to a professional upholstery shop, or can a detailer do this?

i couldnt enlarge the pic, but from what i see it looks like the leather is worn down. if so, it will require repair.
if you can get some close up pics we can tell better.
i will pm our leather expert to see if he can reply too, but i know that better pics would help him advise better too.

Thanks for the heads up on the thread wanabe.
The repair on something like that where the leather is not worn through should be pretty straight forward, I would anticipate it being in the $125-195 range depending on exactly what needs to be done. If you need me to find someone for you in your local area I can certainly help.
