How to remove resin / tree gum ?
Hey there, during the winter I polished my car and used synthethic wax (Prima Epic). Yesterday I found some tree resin / tree gum (what ever the english translation is) on my s2000. Is there any way to safely remove the resin without damaging the synthethic wax layer?
Thanks

If it's a small area I would try a clay bar and lot's of lubricant. Try softening the resin with a hairdryer/ heat gun on low first and then use the clay bar. For larger (more extensive) area there are solvents (Goo Gone. WD40, etc) that will work, but you will have to wax those areas afterward.

So clay bar with "meguirs quick detailer" shouldn't remove the waxing? Yes it is only a small spot/drop.
Thanks
