How to protect the leather seats from the sun?
I use 303 on my dash and the other plastic (vinyl, whatever it is) components. I have been using some leather cleaner and conditioner on my seats. Now that the weather is nice, and the top is down, should I be putting something on the seats to keep them from fading, or is the conditioner enough (I don't believe it has UV protectant in it).
Thanks,
Andy

for leather, you need two products- one to clean with and one to preserve with- more info:
my fav leather products are the townsend products:

good leather tips:http://www.townsendleather.com/leather-car...e-cleaning.html
my second fav are the lexol products.

The finish on your leather seats consists of a pigment in a binder, rather than a dye, pigments are much less apt to fading than dyes are. High end furniture sometimes does not have the finish on the surface and thus fades much more quickly. If you park for a long time in the sun, put the top up and you should be fine for many years to come...That is if you listen to Wanabe as well and use the correct products.
