My S is not a daily driver, so a light cleaning via a California duster followed by detailer spray and wipe by a MF towel(s). Depending on the amount driven, usually washing once a month is sufficient. otherwise the S is kept inside under a cover.

NP espelir, thank you for your offer to help this is the second black car I've ever owned, and sadly I've all but given up on trying to keep them minty looking LOL!

I completely understand. I found that I had no choice but to adopt the five-foot rule: If your black car looks great from five feet away, be happy! It was either that or go crazy.

Dealer washes and dries my car for free every Saturday. I go every other week or so, but not during the winter.

I wash about once a month in winter (take to great professional detail shop), then I hand wash about every other week in wamer seasons. I always use california duter before I go anywhere and use ICE detailer about once a week. Getting ready to get swirls removed by pro using polish and then two coats of Zaino and carnuba wax on top in Spring. Can't wait!

I try to wash it once a week, 2 weeks max. Daily driven on the crappy streets of central Texas. I feel bad for her when the semi trucks kick up crap since there's so much construction on the highways. She's getting a bath today since there was rain a couple of days ago.

This winter I'm using Optimum No Rinse. It seems to be working pretty good. It cuts the time for a wash down considerably.

+1 for ONR. I have a black truck, but the 5 foot rule is BS. It needs to be nice up close for me. I just got my truck last month, but hasen't been deswirled yet due to no garage, and freezing weather is already here.
