It's when you tape off all the emblems and moldings and other stuff you don't want to get compound/wax on

About 6 to 8 hours with a one step correction. Anything more like 2 and 3 steps are going to be around 10 to 12.

6. Blue Shop paper Towel Roll, pop trunk and wipe down trunk = 5 min
7. Blue Shop paper Towel and wipe your exhaust tips = 1 min
8. Blue Shop paper Towel (use the ones that are wet already) wipe down your wheel wells as much as possible. = 2 min.
9. Blue Shop paper Towel wipe down your rims while they are still a little wet, use degreaser if necessary. = 10 min.
10. pull out floor mats and beat them down or vaccum them. = 5 min. add 15 min if you want to scrub them with carpet cleaner foam and use a carpet brush.

I try to start at around 8am, then figure I'll be finished around 6 or 7pm (give or take) ... count your blessings with the S though ... it's nothing compared to doing a full detail on our MDX, it's exhausting ...

I am 68 years old. Takes me about 6-7 hours. I do cycle, paddleboard, and do strength training. This really helps and increases my stamina. Try some core exercises which will strengthen your back as well as your core. Good supportive shoes with good gel inserts will also help your back.

You are right, there are tons more I could do. But mine is a street car, the road warrior even. Parked in the elements but I guarantee, you would think I spent all day. And Mines a 2002 that looks like a 2012 lol not that they exist.

Wheel

Englne bay, ya, i know my filter is dirty =P

Interior

Yeah, so unless im entering a show or have a garage to park in... if not. then the above steps for life. nothing more ever needed maybe the once a year orbital but thats it.

Oh ya, these pics are like from the wash 2 days ago. so whatever lol

>than 8 hrs.

Wet car
wash car
Clay car
Correct entire car using lake country pads and PC7424XP using Meguiars swirl remover or use Adams
apply Zaino - 5 to 6 coats ... Each coat applied with a CLEAN microfiber applicator ... So you will need 5-6 applicators.
wash and dry applicators

after paint correction ... This is the ritual I follow to PREVENT swirl marks from returning

Power washer foamer
two bucket wash ... One with water and one with soap ... The cycle: dip in soap and wash car,, then rinse in clean bucket, soap bucket and wash car
Dry with blower -never ever ever ever dry with chammy or anything else, otherwise swirl marks appear!
apply Zaino - 5-6 coats ... Again, each coat applied with a CLEAN micro fiber applicator ... So you will need 5-6 applicators.

sounds anal doesn't it .. But it's the method used by detailers.
