Claybar?

 

I doubt if the headlight material is a good surface to allow a very strong bond for paint. I'm pretty sure any paint will come off fairly easily using something like 3M Scratch Remover (which I use to remove fine scratches from Rick's screen), or even a fairly heavy rubbing with regular plastic cleaner/polish.

 

WD-40 or a claybar product will probably get it off.
