How do you fix a scratch on glass?
yesterday I was taking a sticker off the driver's side window with a razorblade and made a small scratch about half an inch long and I could feel the scratch..
it's not a thin, even straight scratch..the middle part is deeper and wider..but not deep deep..
it's not a big deal but it bothers the heck out of me..is it repairable?
how much will it cost?
and just out of curiosity..how much is it to replace the whole window??
(not actually gonna do that;
thanks

replacing the entire window is like 400$
that scratch probably can be removed. when i had a crack, i brought it to autoglass and they repaired but left razor marks all over my window. i just bought some cerium oxide (glass polish minerals) and rubbed it in with a sock. worked fine =).
if that doesn't work, try it with a porter cable and leather pad. if that fails, you are screwed.

You can find a good quality replacement windshield for ~$250. Many insurance policies will cover a replacement windshield under comprehensive for a small fee (in the case of a non-repairable chip or crack).
But for the scratch, yeah some aluminum oxide glass polish might just do the trick.
There are kits available that work with a power drill, as well.
