animeS2K, I washed my car yesterday and the mf towels are awesome,
I also clayed and waxed the front bumper and fenders. It's the first time
for the clay and that stuff is awesome. My car wasn't bad but it still had
a few spots here and there but now it's soo silky smooth.

Thanks again

oh! also can I clay the car during a wash with the soap instead of the
special spray??

Thanks
Mac

I just tried the leafblower idea. It works great. You still have to follow it up with a microfiber drying towel in some spots, but it's great.

Glad it worked out for you. You can definitely clay with soapy water instead of the clay lube/spray. Just wash the car, rinse and soap it up again to clay.

Is a Detailing Spray just a milder liquid then car soap and water?

I'm not too sure what the purpose of detailing spray is for, maybe to get bird feces off after you have washed your car. but other then that?

Detailing spray (a/k/a quick detailer) is for fast cleanups without using a hose. As you already mentioned it's great for cleaning up bird bombs, but it also can be used for several other quick cleanups. You could use QD to cleanup bugs on your bumper after a long drive, dust/dirt accumulation on your car as long as it's not too heavy, or polish/wax residue. There's really 100 uses for it.
