I got tired of the wind, so now I beat it. I usually get up at the butt crack of dawn on a saturday morning before the sun raises too high. Very rarely is there any wind and the sun hasn't quite gotten intense enough to water spot the car. Nothing like washing your baby at 6:30 in the morning

seriously. "dry with the hose" - sheet the water with a free-flowing stream and follow it down the car, then follow up with MF towels.
Oh yeah, and get a foam gun

I take the nozzle off of the hose and just let it run over the car. That smooth stream of water onto the car allows the surface tension of the water to take most of the water off of the car for you. I finish it up with a chamois that I have had for years. The thing is amazing.

After doing this, I used my electric blower, and then minimal clean up with a MF towel..

Like others have said, sheet the water off using the hose with no nozzle.
Then get this, I dry the entire car without wringing the towel once. Its great!

Rainey at pakshak is great to deal with, and they have very cheap and quick shipping from hawaii, i still dont understand how he does it.
Oh yeah and use coupon code 350zx, you get a discount, you wont see it at check out be he does go back and adjust the price. I am not sure if this coupon still works though.
