Default How do you dry your S2000?

Currently I have 2 (1 large, 1 medium size) microfiber drying towels. They work great in the beginning, but towards the end of drying the car, they don't absorb all the water.

I'm thinking of buying a blade to get all the standing water off the car before I use the towels to get it 100% dry. Anyone use one of these? Does it leave scratches?

I use the California Water Blade and then a 195 mph leaf blower to finish.

I didn't even think of the leafblower. But it sounds like it might work. I'll have to try it next time I wash the car.

It works much better if the car is waxed at least a couple times a year. Use only the end section of the leaf blower pipe and duct tape it to the blower so it doesn't pop off and hit the car.

I have an absorber for the large droplets and puddles, then a 4sq.ft. microfiber towel, then detail with two 1sq.ft. MF towels, and then polish and wax with two more 1sq.ft. MF towels

seriously. "dry with the hose" - sheet the water with a free-flowing stream and follow it down the car, then follow up with MF towels. I've been meaning to get a nice electric blower, though...

water blade, absorber=possible marring or scratching IMO

Blade is good. No scratches, especially if car is waxed occasionally.

I have a water hose adapter that has like 6 differnt spray nozzles, I first coat the water on "FULL", then let the water sheet off with "SHOWER" and then I use the "MIST" which atomized the water, and helps the bead up and roll off process

Try the "soak" setting instead of the "shower" setting. More water will sheet off if you use a stream of water instead of a spray of water.
