Default How do I clean bug splats from front bumper?

I use the Zaino products on my S2000. While driving it around the car stays pretty clean (gets dusty, but that's another story) because I don't drive it when it rains. But, here in Georgia there are lots of bugs flying around, especially during the summer at night. Since the front of the S2000 is pretty flat, they tend to end up stuck on the front bumper. I've just been using a spray bottle of water and a towel to remove the bugs, but it sometimes requires some good scrubbing. I'm afraid that I may eventually end up dulling out the surface of the bumper or I might be removing the Zaino Z2. Is there something that's made for this sort of thing that might actually even help the finish on the bumper instead of potentially damaging it?

I don't know whether you would need to take the wax off or not; but your solution would be clay bar imo.

I doubt you'll have to re-wax afterwards... if so just do that spot.

If it's a very common problem get a bra for times when the car is prone to be hit by bugs and take the bra off when you won't be in such a situation. One of my friends kept the bra on his mustang on year round and it royally screws with the paint, one part seems dulled while other parts seem better condition paint... then again his car is 11 years old...

Honda spray cleaner and polish works great for removing bugs, road tar, tire splooges after a track day, etc. The stuff is magic! and a hell of a lot easier than getting out the clay bar.

If your Honda car dealer doesn't have it, your local Honda motorcycle dealer will.
