Thanks MikeyC, I contacted CMA and since I'm local I'm just gonna drive there and pick up their pad kit and Menzerna Get Acquainted Kit and try to get rid of these swirls!

If that doesn't work I can try something else, trying to keep things simple for now.

CMA? Is that Classic Motoring Accesories? They have lots of good stuff. I just bought the whole Menzerna line and thought it was pretty good. The IP and FP II are a little tough to buff off after use, but the FMJ was really great. However, buying car care supplies is like buying tooth paste. Some people are commited to Crest while others will tell you Mentadent is the best. There's a lot of opinoin involved. Also, the guys at CMA should be able to take a look at your car and tell you what types of products will correct the flaws in your paint. They'll likely recommend more than one brand and then you'll still need to choose. Have fun I bet that place is like a candy store.

Yep, Classic Motoring Accessories. Didn't know who they are until I started reading this forum a few days ago, turns out they're like 30 mins away! I've never been there, but I have a feeling it'll be like a big candy store!

I've ordered from them in the past and surfed their website a few times. They are knowledgable and very friendly. Also, their prices are reasonable. If you ordered on-line and put Autopia in the coupon code box they would give you 10% off. Mention Autopia (a detailing website) and maybe they will give you the discount in store.

This past Friday I did the Meguiars three-stage wax process on my buddy's 02 NFR S2000....and it came out beautifully. Stage 1 is a paint cleaner, stage 2 is a polish, and stage 3 is a carnuba wax. I was skeptical when I first was considering doing it to my vehicles, but after completing the process on four cars I am sold on its quality. For about $15 total you just can not beat it, IMO.

Oh, and I am obsessed with my car looking like it just drove off the lot at all times...so I am just a bit on the anal side.
Wow, you bought all three bottles for about $15? I was browsing through kragens and each bottle there was about $10. I was gonna buy it, but kinda pricey! Where did you buy it at?

Go to a autobody supply store and look for 3M products. This is what i use when i get done painting a car. You will pay a little more but its worth it.

If you guys liked the 3 stage from Meguiars, try the clay bar first then the 3 stage. Its like night and day. The surface is as smooth as glass!
