Default How can I clean this up on the polish lip?

Hi,

I just bought this set of volks, but I cant get rid of this kind of white thing on my polish lip. I don't want to get them repainted. Anyway to clean that up, I used metal polish, but that didn't even work. What should I do?

Any methods to remove those thing?

Thanks for your help

Volks have clear anodizing. Most times the stain is in the anodizing or under it. They need to be stripped and re-finished.

That means I cant do it by myself? Need to bring those rims to a shop? I asked some mobile wheel repair guys, and they quoted me $175 per wheel and $150 additional. That's a lot

It's not really a do it yourself project unless you have http://www.caswellplating.com/buffs/alwheel.htm and know how to use it.

That's not a easy job imo... Do you know any shop would do it for a decent price? $175 per wheel is too much for me since I need to do 4 wheel and it would be around $700
