From what I gather, most people dont like the greasy feel of Armor All so they use 303 for the dash and I've heard different products being used on seats. I'm probably going to try using Pinnacle Leather Cleaner/Conditioner.

How is that Meguiars workin out for ya?

and my favs:

vinyl - vinylex, or 303

leather- townsends or lexol

for vinyl, the same product can clean and protect. for leather you need two separate products.

Leather:
Yep, Lexol. It works well and can be bought in an auto parts store. I haven't yet found an exotic set of leather care products that works better enough to justify their high price and limited availability.

Vinyl and plastic:
I've now had a few people whom I respect tell me that Armor All isn't the horrible product it once was, that it's been reformulated over the years. In fact, according to their website, it's been reformulated again:

http://www.armorall.com/products/view_prod...dex=protectants

With that said, I'm with wanabe. I've got both 303 and Vinylex. I've only recently tried 303, and I think I like Vinylex a little better. It's easier to get - you can find it in most auto parts stores, at least in the USA - and it's inexpensive. I also like Vinylex better because it seems easier to "adjust" how shiny it looks with a quick wipe-down afterwards. 303 looks glossier to me.

For leather, either Lexol or Zaino Z-9 followed up with Z-10.

For vinyl, 303 protectant. The best place to buy this product in large quantities is a
boating supply or marina.

The following is off of Armorall's website. I thought the caveat was funny!

Attention: Not for use on floors, vehicle controls (pedals, grips, steering wheels), bench or cycle seats, cycle tires, brake drums and other surfaces where slipperiness may be hazardous. Do not use on or near clear plastic surfaces, glass (may cause smearing), fabric, woven materials or paint.

Leather, Meguiars is ok, is shinier than lexol but not as soft. I use Meguiars topped with lexol. Shine and softness.

Interior, Vinylex(blue bottle) nice Matte finish.

Convertible top, Raggtop or vinylex. I like Raggtop.

Floor mats, Woolite rug cleaner. Cleans and leaves a nice smell.

Inside of convertible top above your head. I clean with Meguiars Quick interior detailer to get rid of the dust and shine it up.

I like the results I get but that is why there are so many products.
