Help! Black Magic Tire
I need some help guys... not sure if this is the right forum for it even....
The other day while washing the car, i decided to apply some black magic to clean the tires up a bit. I guess I didnt notice i overdid it, and got a lot of foam onto the tread of the tire.
I didnt notice this until the next day, when i noticed the tire tread was cleaner than it was suppose to be...
I wiped down each tire twice over, and went to check if there were any specific instructions on how to clean it off the tire tread. All the instructions say are to NOT apply it on the tread area, and to clean it off immediately if it does come in contact.
Now, the tire had at least 24 hours with the stuff, before i noticed and tried to wipe it off...
is there anything i can do to fix this? Should I just drive it carefully for the next few hundred miles and hope the stuff gets worn off?
thanks in advanced people.

my recollection is that it can make your car handle unpredictably- you might want to call the company for their ideas... i think the phone number is here: http://www.blackmagiccarcare.com/contact.htm
if you test drive it, make sure you are in an area with no one else around and start out slow. weave the car at slow speeds to make sure it does not lose control- if all o.k., keep it at slow speeds and drive around a bit. then stop and feel the tires- if they feel clean, i would do some more weaves and then as you suggest drive very carefully for awhile.

it'll take a coupla days to wear off, depending on how much you drive and how big a spot it is.
had it happen to me - my detailer was too generous with the stuff and your back-end will feel a bit loose for awhile. just don't drive aggresively and you're fine.

, smoke your tires and you're fine but just don't go crazy on it.
