Just did a routine cleaning this weekend and noticed an area on drivers side headlight that looks like a spot of clear protective film is off. I already suspect that I probably got wax on there at some point and that is what caused it. Does this sound about right?

are you the original owner?

if not, is it possible that another owner put 3m on the lights?

i have heard that the lights can peel, but have not seen it yet.

got pics? we can prob help fix this if its just a haze or wax on the light.
what products have you tried?
before i see the pics i can tell you that plexus is the least aggressive and prob makes sense trying first.

Thanks for the reply. No, I am not the original owner. It doesn't look like any film was added. It is peeling as you say, not a haze on it. It's not terribly noticeable unless you pay attention to details like most of us do. At this point I just plan to make sure no wax or anything ever gets on the lights again.
