Head Rest Falling Apart

Default Head Rest Falling Apart

the plastic behind my seats....the part that sits behind my head rests is completely separated. im talking about the part where the head rest speakers go from honda....that plastic arc is coming apart.....i've tried super glue, hot glue, nothing works...anyone has any experience w/that and how to fix it? thanks all.

are you talking about the roll hoops - if so - i think you might be screwed

or

are you talking about the plastic parts on the top rear of the seat - that's just held on by clips - so i would slight;y bend the clips so they bite a little better

im talking about the plastic, not on the seats. when u pull the seats forward, is the plastic arc that is not a part of the seat but is right behind the headreast when the seat is back against it. its the arcs that are both sides of the widescreen that sit behind the seat.

I believe I have read of some having success with JB Weld 2-part epoxy on the roll hoops (Home Depot). This is considerably stronger than hot glue.

Mine split and I know of others in the Uk that did the same. Talk to Honda they contibuted the part if I paid for the 50% of the fitting as mine was out of warranty too
