Hazing Issues with the M105/205 Combo, Looking for Suggestions *PICS*

Make sure your doing more than just two passes and be sure that you are gradually easing up on the pressure toward the end. I always just use the weight of the machine only on my final pass. Don't move too quickly and use even pressure. Definitely hit that paint up with some cleaner to bring it back to life. That's one thing I like about the paint creme meguiars makes.

Unfortunately all paints are different and this is a new problem for me. I don't have these issues on my black CTSV, M105/Orange followed up with M205/white looks like glass afterwards. I've even seen some paints so hard they finish out perfectly with M105 and a finishing pad.
As for the M205 on a orange pad, I'm getting hazing with M205 and the Gray finishing pad, although slight.
I put in an order for some Menzerna 85RD and new Hydrotech pads. With the Color X results and everything I've read about the 85RD, I'm very optimistic that I'll have all of the haze gone.

you are complicating this. the 105 will leave some hashing, its a fairly abrasive compound. put some 205 on an orange pad and it will be perfect.

it does sound more and more like the method of application of the 105 is the issue.

You'll love the 85rd. It's unfortunate that an 06 would require so much correcting.
Then again, my 05 has several marks from a previous owner that will never come out. Than goodness for gpw.
