Hand Polish for Removing 2000 Grit Scratches

This giude recommends 3m Imperial Hand Glaze for removing sanding scratches from a 2000 grit sanding block. Are there any better alternatives? Also, can I achieve good results with hand polish as opposed to machine polish with a PC? I'm just trying to exhaust my options before I begin my extensive paint chip repairs.

really depends on how bad the scratches are...
usually 2000 grit leaves more of a haze than scratches.
haze can be polished out, and they like the 3m product cause a glaze fills, and adds oils to the paint. usually would be a good solution. and 3m does make a hand glaze. have used both the hand and machine glazes, and imo its worth getting the machine and learning to use it!
