Default Hairline scratches on a black S2k

All,

It doesn't seem to matter what steps I take to prevent those annoying hairline scratches that show up under bright light.

I use cotton towels washed in liquid detergent. Change areas on the towel every body panel. This is for washing and drying.

Is this inevitable? Is it because the car is Black?

And will the Zaino fine scratch polish help remove this?

Thanks for reading.

In my opinion, that is just one of the disadvantages of having a black car...I have owned a few black cars myself...They look really good right after you wash them, but drive them down the road a few miles and they will seem like they will be covered in dust...I think when it is clean, black is one of the best looking colors on a car...But it is too frustrating for me to keep clean all of the time...That is why I bought a Seabring Silver S2000...Much, much, much easier to keep clean!

suggestions:
1. dont look at your car under bright lights! (the worst way to do this is to go into a dark garage with a flashlight- man you will see stuff you never want to see on your car!!!)

2. my black car can go for 3 weeks+ looking like new... requires that the car be covered most of the time it is not driven. every 3 days or so i dust it then spot clean it with a detailer's spray. interior just gets a quick wipe.
i also have noted that when the car is driven on the freeway it gets dirtier quicker, and following too closely will also result in residue and/or chips on the front end.

3. make sure to use wax, or a polymer finish periodically. i use finish first about 5+ times a year on mine.

Zaino is great for black cars. My friend has a black S2K and Zaino keeps a good bit of the dust from sticking and it stays cleaner between washes. He had some small swirls and used a special buffer, pads, and 3M product to get them all out.
