i have read many posts regarding p21s and s100 over zaino. i'm still a little bit lost to how exactly one applied it. this is what i've done:

1. wash car with dawn and dry it
2. wash car with z7 and dry it
3. z7 mixed in bottle, spray and clay
4. apply ZFX/Z2
5. apply Z5
6. apply Z6
7. apply ZFX/Z2
8. apply Z5
9. apply Z6
10. apply ZFX/Z2
11. apply Z5
12. apply Z6

the instruction says to always end with Z2. well... after so many application i was dead tired. so i end it with Z5. not sure what will happen. anyways, i like to try p21s or s100 over zaino. the question is, which one to use (p21s or s100 detail spray)? also, when to apply the p21s or s100? i mean after ZFX/Z2, Z5 or Z6 stage.

 

use the full carnuba-
i use p21s over zaino
(and then to complicate things i use a detailers spray carnuba over that about a week later!)
carnuba always goes last.
sal zaino doesnt like sandwiching, but i do!

 

does it matter if i use p21s after apply Z6 or does it have to come after Z5?

true... i was taking some pictures for comparison that's the only reason why.

 

that makes perfect sense, and in fact, please do take step-by-step pics. it'll be great to really see how it looks in each step, and then be able to compare the glossy-ness before and after the zaino.

 

actually i got step 2 and 3 reversed.

 

WHAT I WOULD DO IS USE Z5/ZFX FOR THE FIRST 2 COATS ONLY, (YOU ARE MIXING THE Z5 W/ZFX, RIGHT?) THEN Z2/ZFX FOR THE FINAL 2-3 COATS. YOU CAN ADD MORE COATS AS YOU GO ALONG WITH NORMAL WASHINGS ALSO, WITH Z6 AFTER & BEFORE EACH COAT. THAT'S MY .02$
