It wouldn't hurt, but you'll experience diminishing returns. With the two bucket method, your wash water should be clean at the end.

Yes that bucket, I use a 5 gallon orange home depot bucket and a 2.5 gallon chemical guys bucket with one grit guard in each, soap in the 2.5, water in the 5.
