The Great Spring detail of a Black on Black Beast
Hey guys, its that time of year where I start to get fanatical about the paint of my '04 Berlina
Next week I am going to be doing a MAJOR DETAIL to the car, just need some advice as its been a while since I have done this
Ok so I I will be using a Porter Cable and the products I am using for the exterior
My order seem right?
1) Wash
2)Adam's Grey Clay bar
3) Menzerna Intensive Polish (P091) (which color pad Orange or Green? )
4)Menzerna Micro Polish <--- I love this stuff (PO85RD) (Blue or Black pad?)
5)Menzerna Full Molecular Jacket
6) Lusso Oro
Does this sound right with the order and pad combo?
Will post pics of before and after

Dont forget to wash the car again after step 2.
A lot of detailers also wash the car again after polishing to get rid of all the dust, but you don't have to do that either.

I'm not sure you need to go intensive polishing+orange pad..
that seems a bit aggressive for berlina black

These pads are from Detailers domain, the "house" ones so to speak..............

^ Yup
also will it be advantageous to do a glaze before sealant?

For a weekend warrior, I would. But since I do this professionally, I never use glaze as I'm just "covering up" what I don't want the customers to see
