Got my bumper touched up!
So in preparation for trading my car in.. I've been putting it back to stock, and had to take care of a "cosmetic" issue. This happened the day AFTER I lowered my car, and I just got it fixed last Friday.

After Luis worked his magic:
(the lines are a reflection, not scratches)
Was done in about 3 hours.. Luis did an AMAZING job. Sorry for the out of focus picture

Aaron, was this some sort of bumper restoration specialist guy? 4 hours is no time at all, and it looks perfect. I'm really impressed.
You know...guys like us could make a heck of a lot of money if we knew how to do light paint repair. Hmm...

He's been in the business for 17 years.. I watched him do it and this is how it went:
He took an electric DA with a certain grit dry sand paper.. and sanded everything down to be as level as possibly. Laid body filler down.. more DA sanding to reshape it. Then wet sanded down.. 3 coats of color and one coat of clear.. then a coat of the special blending clear they use so the overspray around the blend.. blends in!
I was thinking about doing airbrush touch-up.. but with someone like him in my area, I'm just building a working relationship with him. So hopefully I'll get clients from him.. I've already sent him two people haha. It'd take just as much time/effort to learn this as it is for detailing at a high level, so I think it's more about picking your poison.
