welcome-
a random orbital would make the job easier, imo.
i use a porter cable to apply and remove most products- the only one i do by hand is p21s cause its a quick on and off.
do you know what brands are available in your area?

wanabe - how does NXT compare to Zaino in your expert opinion?

aquilaeagle-
i think the main strength of nxt over zaino is that nxt is better with the dust than zaino...
nxt might be better for those who dont want to spend the time.
for those of us looking for perfection and time is not a concern, zaino is still hard to beat (as you know, i solve the dust problem with p21s over the zaino).

i like flitcroft's analysis:

Hi, "D2". Outstanding pics! A nice job on a very beautiful car.
If it's Dawn in New York, is it Dusk in Hertfordshire?

I'm gonna chime in here and add my $.02 worth.. as well.. there is much, much hype about this product. Why ? Over the years, an easy to buy, on the shelf product that would produce these results were not to be found. It will sit next to the turtle Wax and Mother's on the shelves, but produce a significant better finish. Meg's have significantly raised the bar, but IMO have not yet reached the likes of Zaino , Klasse or WG.

It offers something close to polymers like Zaino, Klasse and WG but does show its weakness. All the pics sent to me showing NXT there is lacking something. That something is a "wet looking finish" NXT is good stuff but does not have the "wet look" finish as does Zaino, Klasse or WG. It creates the "shiny" look. But heh ? most of the population cannot tell the diff. Only detailers like myself and others "trained" eyes can spot the diffs..

Regardless, NXT will be my choice in colder temps as we all know how long Zaino takes to dry in 32F-34F weather.. this is where NXT wins over the polymers. The dreaded drying time in colder temps..

So in the warmer months I'll use the likes of Zaino & Klasse, but come winter, I will probably dip into the NXT..
