Good First Timer Polish?
So I am going to be taking my PC to my car for the first time next weekend, and I need a little product suggestion help.
Here is what I have (or have ordered) so far:
JEFFS Werkstatt Prime
JEFFS Werkstatt Acrylic Jett Trigger
Menzerna Final Polish
P21S Carnuba Wax
My car has light to moderate (but that is just my estimation) swirls. What would be a good choice of polish for a first timer?
I'd like a single step polish, something that I can move right into the "Prime" after using.
I want something that isn't too hard to work with. What would you guys suggest? I'd prefer to order from Autogeek since I am getting my Edge Pads from them and would like to save on shipping.
Thanks.

for a black car I like the 3m glaze- very forgiving for a first timer-
it removes light swirls and fills the rest
not the site that you asked for, but this is the stuff (and yup, thats my car):

Zaino's ZPC is pretty good for a first timer as well, from my experience. If you just let the machine do the work, you can't really do much damage.
As for get better (or the scratches get worse!) you might want to look into the Menzerna IP and FP. I have found them to be WONDERFUL on the soft Honda paint.
I do not have any experience with the 3M personally but have a detailer friend who swears by the stuff.
Be sure to post how you like the Werkstatt.

I learned with Menzerna polishes, but after trying out many others, I would probably recommend learning with the Optimum line instead. You can work their polishes forever with minimal dusting and I think that would really help you focus on your PC technique. I would recommend Optimum Compound and Optimum Polish. If you want to stick with Menzerna, however, make sure you pick up a bottle of Intensive Polish to go with your Final Polish

Thanks for the info. I actually discovered that I bought a bottle of Sonus SFX-2. So I was thinking of maybe using that followed by the Menzerna FP since I already have that as well.
Any thoughts on that combo followed by the JW Prime?

That should be a good plan as long as you work the polish long enough and get it completely broken down. I find that Prime and Prime Strong both are great products to use to sterelize the surface prior to going to your sealant. I equate Prime to the pre-VOC Klasse AIO.
VERY good points on the Optimum polish as well...that one slipped my mind.
