Getting Tar off of wheels???

Default Getting Tar off of wheels???

Like the subject says..does anyone know a good way of getting tar off of the wheels?? I know that our manual says don't use anything strong on them, but I know that it will not come off with car wash and water......??

you should use a good non-acid cleaner-
my first choice for your problem would be somethng like
einmann hi-intensity cleaner...
be careful when scrubbing cause tar can contain grit which can cause swirls or scratches to your wheels.

i forgot to mention that i would use it full strength and let it sit for a few minutes. prob will take a few tries.

will that stuff ruin the finish on the wheels? I'm hesitant to use anything on my wheels but soap and water.

everything above is safe on your wheels- just use the product, wash the wheels (car shampoo or a good wheel wash soap) and then wax/zaino them.

if you want to use a wheel cleaner (instead of car shampoo), p21s is one of the many that are non-acid and good cleaners:
