Full wash vs Dust + QD?
For those of you whose s2k (or other car) is not a daily driver, and can thus avoid many of the elements, how often do you do a full wash?
I've found that for the most part, I can maintain the car's appearance with a duster, followed by Werkstatt Quick Wash (and/or Glos). At what point should I wash the car "normally" even though it doesn't appear to need it?

good q phil-
mine is one of those... lives under a cover, gets dusted n sprayed often, and went 4 mos last time. looked brand new when it was detailed recently. really no exact answer- you just want to watch for swirls or haze. old wax can haze. clay or polish will handle that.
pretty much personal preference. mine is almost always washed looking clean before. more of a want to wash it sorta thing, imo.

I daily drive mine. At night it is kept under a cover. Before she goes to sleep, I use a California Car Duster on her and every other night or so, I QD the entire car.
Went 1 month without washing and still looked great. Wax was starting to fade a bit though.

Good question, I've been wondering the same thing, mine lives under a cover and only sees the roads sometimes in the evening and on weekend and only when there is 0% chance of rain. I'll wipe it down w/Wolfgang detail spray and touch up the wheels and tires a bit but haven't washed it in two months. However, I have noticed that the road grit in the wheel wells is building up plus bug splats.
