Draw a big cock on his face when he's asleep next time, in permanent marker.

I'd get it power polished out. A paintless dent repair clinic left scratches in my hood after wiping the dust off that section with their hands... dumb people.

My usual answer:

PC (Porter Cable) and a yellow or orange cutting pad with some DACP (Meguiar's Dual Action Cleaner Polish) should work. If that doesn't work then move up a notch in abrasiveness.

you mean your former friend!!
i would clay and then use a paint cleaner...
if that didnt work i would move to a swirl remover oddly enough (because it contains the most mild abrasive). i agree with ubetit- i would also use the pc with products.
that should get it, but in the rare case it doesnt you would then go towards more abrasive compounds and your former friends bank account!

Or go and write a paragraph worth of crap on his car! Push hard and sign at the bottom.

If he's really a friend - he'd have your car detailed and pick up the tab.

If that friendship isn't worth saving - you've got lots of good options to choose from in this thread.

thanks the for tips everyone...i already put two coats of wax on it and it is a lot less noticeable, but i know it's still there!

when the air clears up i will probably give my car a nice wash and zaino it, i'll try to claybar the whole car too unless i get lazy then i'll just do the hood.

wanabe: what kind of paint cleaner are you talking about using after i claybar? i will probably try that first and if that won't work i'll move to the scratch X and apply zaino Z5 over that.

p.s. i've known my friend for like 15 years or so...i know his intentions weren't to mess up my paint, so handing him a bill for a professional detail seems a lil' extreme for me...unless it won't come out after i try all these other tips. if it comes out i'll just make him buy me food or somethin' for all my hard work
