Awesome work! Can you explain (in SOME detail) how the paint depth gauge works? And how to put it to use? I know it's used so you can tell how much clear coat there is and to take off, but how do you know how much you're taking off with the type of polish you use? And how to regulate that?

Thanks!

Aaron

Yea I normally do, whenever the gauge is not in use for a long time it defaults to mils again.

I just used the gauge for the purpose of taking pics only

mils is too large of a number to get a true gauge of buffing. It works well for gauging repainted panels though!

What are you using to get the foam so nice and thick like that? (tool and shampoo?)
