Fixing Black...AGAIN! (Fixed it with PC update)
A body shop screwed up my paint and I had another shop fix it. It looked great when I got it back, and after I washed and waxed it. Over the course of a week and a half, buffer marks grew more and more apparent. Could it be that the wax was covering up the buffer marks?
So, I just ordered a Porter Cable and some pads. Please help me pick what products to use to fix the problem.

After a week and a half. Only wash and wax was done the day I got it back. Wax was by hand.

I knew that was going to happen. S2000 paint is extremely soft. Unless the shop has experience with that paint, they aren't going to fix it right. It was probably a combination of wax and the glaze they applied which was hiding the swirls. Where are you located?
As I said in the other thread, you are going to need Meguiars 105, Menz 203s or SIP, Menz 106FF or 87mc, and Menz 85rd, a few bottles of isopropyl alcohol, and MANY hours of buffing. Get at least 2 of each pad (yellow/ orange, green, blue, black), and at least 10+ microfiber towels.

However, going against DetailDan's advice (for once!) don't waste $30 on M105. All you'll do is mar the paint. Stick with PO203S, 106fa, and 85rd (or 3M Ultrafina).

M105 will leave marring sometimes, however it is necessary to remove the imperfections. There may be imperfections he will not be able to remove if he doesnt use the M105.
