Hey guys, just got a bunch of new stuff in from detailers domain. Figured Id try the stuff on my moms car which really needed the cleaning. Came out pretty good, but its definately a learning process. Took lots of mental notes of what to do and what not to do next time. Comments and suggestions appreciated!
Products used:

Optimum car wash
Boars hair wheel brush
Spoke brush
Fender brush
Meguires ultimate quick deatailer
Jumbo waffle weave towel
1Z Gumme plefdge stift
Adams VRT
Adams unvisible undercarriage spray
Dual bucket method using grit guard
Before:
After:
Tires before/after Adams VRT applied with foam block sponge
Also got more product coming in soon. Clay bar, wax, glass cleaner... the works Saving up for a porter cable kit too.
Washing my freshly detailed car tomorrow! Is this deserving of a badge?

Just finished my car, too dark to get any good pictures of the reflection. Although the waffle weave towel gave me some problems halfway through drying. It started pretty much spreading the water instead of drying, and left tons of streaks. I tried wringing it out but not much came out. Found a couple of water spots left from the towel but some quick detailer and a microfiber took it out. Im thinking the towel just got too wet though. Is there a certain process for drying/maintaing these. I may be going to walmart to pick up a leaf blower real soon

I dry my towels in the open air, hanging from whatever's available - usually a pot handle or a doorknob.
Is it possible that you washed or dried the towels with fabric softener (like a dryer sheet)? If so, don't do that. It'll diminish their ability to absorb, and leave streaks when you use them.
