Default First Detail with my PC (Pics of course)

I used my PC for the first time today. My process was:

Wash
Clay
Wash
Optimum Compound w/ Edge Green Pad
Optimum Polish w/ Edge Blue Pad
JEFFS Werkstat Prime w/ Edge White Pad
JEFFS Werkstat Acrylic JETT Trigger w/ MF

Here is a before shot I took last week:

Here is the hood - passengers side polished, drivers side only compounded

black is the hardest to work with, practice makes perfect.

Yeah, tell me about it. But considering the car has 67k miles on it and is driven as my daily driver I think it looks pretty good.

Next time I will use something more aggressive to try and get some of the deeper swirls out.

The car Marcus detailed had 1/2 the miles. BIGGGG difference.


Nice job, especially for your first time, moreso on black!

I think it looks pretty good. Black is always the real test for your detailing results, for a first time attempt you did really really well.

I'd like to know your impressions on the Werkstatt lineup. I'm also interested in the durability of Jett Trigger, tell us what you think of this product after you've had it on the car for a few weeks. I think I'm going to use the Werkstatt line of products on my next major detail but I'd like to hear from someone with actual experience before I pull the trigger (pun intended ) on my next order.
