It was a black car also. i just used a wool pad and went over the car when all was done

I haven't put on the multiple layers of Z-2/ZFX that I want yet but here's the car after doing much of the Zaino process (Dawn, clayed, C-7 wash, 3 coats of Z-5 followed by 3 coats of Z-6, one coat of Z-2/ZFX followed by Z-6 again. I'd like to get a few more coats of Z-2/ZFX on and MAYBE I'll add a layer of Gold Class. Not sure. The car looks amazingly better than Gold Class days and it looks real good then.

What Zaino products would you recommend putting on the rims?

Thanks for the compliments on the car. There is some "more work" I want to do per my prior post. Just ran out of time. I may very well try a layer of the old Gold Class for comparison. The car looks better in person to be honest. The dang weather here has been so crazy I can't seem to catch good lighting. Not that I'm a photographer but I've seen better pics of my car even prior to the Zaino.

I'll keep working on the baby but not bad for the first round wouldn't you say?

I just didn't seem to get what I was looking for even with an instant detailer spray (used with a microfiber towel by hand) following a wash, so I tried using the detailing spray with my Porter Cable polisher. I used the wool pad and a long nap microfiber bonnet. The finish was just what I was looking for, much better than detailing by hand.

I thought that I would pass that along and ask if anyone else has tried this?

By the way, could you provide the model number, approx. price of the PC you're talking about. I've been thinking about investing in one of those but don't want to fool around and buy the wrong thing. Also, what pads would you recommend getting? Any other accessories you'd suggest? Just want to do it right. As you can tell, I too am serious about my car.

Thanks for all of your input.

Shay
