Default A few washing questions

Well, i jus got my 02' spa yellow, and i have washed once with a light hand and a bit of zymol wash. Well, its been a few days, and i am noticing some black specs on the sfrotn bumper, paint seems to be smooth, yet they do nto come out. How do i go about getting rid of this? Clay bar? ANy recomendations on products? Thanks, Mike

It might be tar from the roads. I use bug and tar remover. Give that a try.

The Zaino clay bar, coupled with Zaino Z6 acting as a lubricant for the bar will remove those contaminants. Perhaps just fall out from the environment, or road grime/tar. Bug/tar remover will also remove it, but just remember to polish/protect the area afterwards. I recommend the Zaino system, as each component, from start to finish is by far the best product on the market. I'm sure if you do a search on Zaino on this forum, you will find many useful threads, as well as many words of praise for the product.
Good luck!

Z-6 is not used as a lubricant for Clay Bar. Fill a 12 oz spray bottle with water and add 1/2 capful of Z-7 Car Wash. Shake well and use as a lube for Clay Bar.

I use Z6 as a lubricant, before which I used Meguiars quick detailer. Both ensure a smoother finish with the clay. I think this has a lot to do with the more viscous properties of Z6 in comparo to Z6/water which dries up a lot quicker, and hence prohibits the fluid motion of the clay bar on the paint surface.
Just sayin what works for me!
