Post Exhaust Polishing

Anyone know what I should use to polish a stainless steel exhaust system? Do you recommend cleaning the inside of the system? How would you go around to do that?
How about polishing the titanium tips?

Heard a couple different things.. I have used Nevr Dull or something like that. Works pretty good, there was one a couple post back about someone using some kinda polish cream.. I'll try and look it up.

there you go. Do a little research first, then ask. It was the second page of this forum.

just to add to this thread :

be very careful with the ti tips. its a real pia to reblue tips if you accidentally unblue them.
as long as you go easy you should be fine. i always test underneath to determine whether the product will work and just how much pressure i can use.

I use eagle one polish in the silver can its like a cloth material that you rip pieces off and wipe clean, it works really well...

You guys are right on regarding the blue tips. I've got a blue tinted Ti shift knob on my car. Mother's mag and aluminum polish made it nice and shiny...and took the vast majority of the blue away.

Lesson learned. At least it was a cheap, knock off shift knob, and not some pricey JDM piece.

A related question- After you polish your exhaust system, is there any product that can be applied that will withstand the heat and protect?

One more- Has anyone tried the stainless steel polishs that are sold to polish SS appliances like refrigerators and stoves?
